Her appointment reflects Havas' belief that the future of Africa should be shaped by African leadership, leaders who understand its people, celebrate its diversity and are committed to unlocking its extraordinary potential, says the agency.

As part of this enhanced leadership structure, Dany Naaman, currently Chief Executive Officer of the Middle East region (Media), will expand its responsibilities to include strategic oversight of Africa, reflecting the Group's growing investment in one of its regions.

Reporting to Naaman, Ravjee will lead the day-to-day operations across Havas' African network, working closely with teams in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal and South Africa. Together, they will drive the next phase of the Group's growth strategy across the continent, strengthening collaboration, accelerating innovation, and delivering positive impact for clients and communities alike, adds the agency.

Naaman will continue to co-lead the Middle East region (Media), alongside Bertille Toledano (Creative), ensuring continuity and sustained momentum across this important market.

Over the past two years, Provit Chemmani, CEO Africa and Global Managing Director — COE at Havas Media Network, has played a defining role in strengthening Havas Africa's presence, building capabilities, nurturing talent and creating the foundation required for sustainable growth. His leadership has been instrumental in positioning the business for what comes next, says the agency.

Now, with the business stronger and the opportunity across Africa greater than ever, Chemmani will oversee a smooth leadership transition until the end of 2026, after which he will assume a global role.

"Leadership is ultimately about knowing when a business is ready for its next evolution. I am incredibly proud of what we have built across Africa. The talent we have developed, the relationships we have strengthened, and the culture we have created. Roxana brings the experience, energy and perspective needed for this next chapter. I have every confidence that she will take Havas Africa forward with authenticity and ambition."

Ravjee joins Havas as a recognised African business leader with more than 20 years of experience across marketing, advertising, transformation and growth. Most recently, she served as CEO of Dentsu South Africa. But beyond titles and boardrooms, Ravjee's leadership has always been defined by her connection to people.

Ravjee is a leader who believes that the best businesses are not built from a distance. They are built by being close to the work; by listening to teams, understanding clients, asking questions and being willing to get involved where it matters most.

For Ravjee, authenticity is not a leadership statement; it is a way of working. She believes people deliver their best when they are empowered to bring their full selves, experiences and ideas into the room, adds the agency.

And as the industry enters a new era shaped by artificial intelligence and rapid technical progression, Ravjee believes human connection will become even more valuable.

This belief is one of the reasons Havas' philosophy of Growth, Powered by Desire resonates with her. The idea that the future belongs to businesses that combine advanced intelligence with human ingenuity, creativity and purpose, says the agency.

"Africa has always been a continent driven by creativity, resilience and possibility. What excites me about this opportunity is being able to contribute to a business that recognises the power of people and the importance of meaningful work. Technology will continue to transform our industry, but our ability to understand people, solve real challenges and create connections that matter will always be our greatest strength," says Ravjee.

For Havas Africa, the next chapter is not about leaving the past behind. It is about building on what has been created and having the courage to evolve, concludes the agency.
